Overall Rating An-Najm Publishers has produced a must read inspirational Anthology as its first publishing effort. The quality of the book production and design to produce this book is outstanding. The quality of the short stories and poetry… by such talented writers as Umm Junayd, Amatullah Abdullah, Balqees Mohammed, Fawzia Gilani, J. Samia Mair, and many more writers makes this a must have book for your library, school or home library.

The poems were profoundly moving, with the short stories bringing tears to my eyes and inspiration to my soul. Review by Umm Thameenah
Overall Rating Being a natural lover of poetry, I didn’t half expect to read any other section, let alone thoroughly enjoy it. The poems were profoundly moving, with the short stories bringing tears to my eyes and inspiration to my soul.
A highly recommended anthology, masha’Allah!

Between… Love, Hope and Fear completely changed my perception of the world of ‘Muslim Fiction’. Review by Latifa.A.Rahman
Overall Rating A corner of the book was visible from my mother’s bag. It was a gentle fading shade of green and shone in the blinding sun. I was attracted to it like an ant to left over crumbs. Sluggishly, I pulled it out and examined the cover. It depicted a green expanse with a white bird gliding through with balance: love, hope and fear inter-wind. Perfectly balanced , I thought. I then dove in, head-first.
I loved this book and finished it quickly. I was waiting for more when the pages ran out. It was mosaic of literary works from poetry, short fiction to essays. What’s more, Between… Love, Hope and Fear completely changed my perception of the world of ‘Muslim Fiction’ forcing me to explore the once untouched genre which I previously though non-existent. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for literature that relates directly to you (as a muslimah/muslim), feeds the mind and leaves you thinking for weeks after you’re done reading. Simply inspirational! (Posted on 12/08/2009)
