This book is amazing, superb and, in short, inspiring.

It takes the reader through the journey of Renee Morris but in turn allows each reader to evaluate his or her own self in the process.

So many important lessons are conveyed through this book: from childhood innocence, nostalgia and family values to issues of nationalism, racism and education to the issue of friends, higher education and growing up to most importantly issues of the heart and soul: seeking guidance, finding the truth in life, and dealing with human emotions such as pride, fear, hope, envy, and longing to belong.

I was deeply touched by this beautiful book. I truly hope and pray everyone will get a chance to read it since its universal message rises above any boundaries and is applicable to anyone who is human and is searching for the truth.
